Behind each team there is a shared goal, that has to be achieved.

The team is therefore solution and problem at the same time.

The team is a Gestalt consisting of visible and invisible stakeholders with corresponding roles and functions, with experiences, skills, personalities as well as interests and needs.

Off-Task activities have their causes in (1) motivation (the relationship between effort, performance, reward, and personal needs), (2) the personality traits of the individual, (3) cognitive biases (the limitation in objective thinking), and (4) psychological defense mechanisms (the way people behave when dealing with anxiety or guilt).

CHANGE does not always have to be an act of state. It's about behavioural changes in the team. Small changes in the way you work can lead to big positive changes in behaviour.

 

MICRO-CHANGE interventions aim to eliminate 'off-task' activities. This eliminates inefficiency while freeing up new resources for 'on-task' work.
